The Economist Intelligence Unit's Media Directory allows you to search a database of our analyst details for any word or phrase ('search term'). If the database contains the term you searched for, a list of all matches will be displayed on the left of the screen, while the full details of the first match alphabetically will be displayed on the right. You can then click on any of the names on the left of the screen to view the full details for that analyst.
You can either perform a free-text search on every field in the database ('all fields'), or you can just search the four most popular fields ('names', 'country expertise', 'specialist subjects' and 'languages'). To save time, the most common search terms are loaded into a drop-down list above whenever you choose one of the four most popular fields, and you can display the results just by selecting a search term from the list and clicking 'GO'.
